I started off making cakes for family and friends before giving up a proper career in favour of playing with sugar full time. Having worked for two bakeries making their wedding and celebration cakes, I am now looking toward world domination with breaks for coffee and chat.

This week's birthday cakes - Dinosaur and star

The dino cake is almost 2 feet across.

I know, his head is too big. Too late to sort it out now tho...

I have named him Claude (because boys can tend the nest too you know!).

Tomorrow he will die...

...at the hand of my nephew Alex whose birthday it is!

Otis is my stepson who turns 25 on the same day.

This one was a bit rushed as I didn't know he was coming over until a couple of hours beforehand.
