I am a cake obsessive, based in West Sussex, UK.

I started off making cakes for family and friends before giving up a proper career in favour of playing with sugar full time. Having worked for two bakeries making their wedding and celebration cakes, I am now looking toward world domination with breaks for coffee and chat.

If you are interested in seeing future projects, enter your email address in the box on the right for updates.

To see my website go to: www.kasserina.com. You can email me on info@kasserina.com.

I also sell some sugarcraft items on Etsy. Please go to https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/KasserinaHome?ref=hdr_shop_menu

Thanks for looking!

happy birthday baby bean

Jacob is one, can't believe it.  We call him Bean but he's also known as the night owl so an owl cake for him.  My first proper multi-coloured layer cake, but of course once you start cutting cake with little people around its mayhem so forgot to get photos of the inside, doh!

A birthday cake for Marina, yummy.

Aaah, blossom cakes... gotta love them.
It's so easy to cover up any imperfections in the fondant.
Just stick a flower there.

This week's birthday cakes - Dinosaur and star

The dino cake is almost 2 feet across.
I know, his head is too big.  Too late to sort it out now tho...
I have named him Claude (because boys can tend the nest too you know!).
Tomorrow he will die...
...at the hand of my nephew Alex whose birthday it is!

Otis is my stepson who turns 25 on the same day.
This one was a bit rushed as I didn't know he was coming over until a couple of hours beforehand.
Happy birthday Ote!
